Butch Collins -- (1943 -- 2010)

| | Vancouver, BC ---Prominex Resource Corp. (TSX:V-PXR) is saddened to inform the shareholders that Michael "Butch" Collins, a director of the company has lost his battle to a long term illness.
His ingenuity, professionalism, and forthrightness were always present in all he did. His geological knowledge and expertise in mining exploration was extensive, well recognized, and very much appreciated by this company. Mr. Collins was a good friend and respected colleague and his foresight and willingness to take on new challenges will be sorely missed.
